Start CPR to buy time until medical help arrives. Defibrillation reduces the probability of survival to hospital discharge by 10%.
Defibrillators give an electric shock to re-organise the rhythm of the heart. Defibrillation within 3–5 minutes of cardiac arrest can produce survival rates as high as 50–70%. This can be achieved through public access defibrillation, when a bystander uses a nearby AED to deliver the first shock. Each minute of delay to defibrillation reduces the probability of survival to hospital discharge by 10%.

• Use the trivia question cards to test your general knowledgeGreat fun and good to refresh first aid knowledge. Have played the game with the kids and is great fun, we all loved it. The questions were great and always good to refresh first aid knowledge.
A game that makes you think. Just got the new chain of survival board game and have played it 6 times in a row! The questions are really good, we particularly liked the first aid and body questions as they make you think more about the benefits of learning what first aid is all about. The game is easy to use, fast, and the build quality is one of the best we have ever seen. We love it!.
Excellent game for adults and children. and addictive. You want to keep playing. At the same time you learn a lot from the vast quantity of both 1st aid and general knowledge questions. Brilliant!
This new board game is such a lot of fun to play. We all got into it very quickly and found we could complete the game in less than 45 minutes which meant we could dive back in for another go.
We bought this game as our kids had already been learning about first aid at school and thought it would be an opportunity to learn more whilst having fun. We we're not dissapointed, the questions (which are not all about first aid) we're quite intuitive even if you had no idea about first aid, and it was a learning curve even for us parents!
The quality of this game is excellent and our kids love it! That's our christmas sorted then.
I have used this board game to enhance the Mini Medics First Aid courses that I run in schools and the children absolutely love it. Not only has it helped engage the children socially, it has given them an even greater understanding of what first aid is all about. Well done Nuco!
